[Flag of Germany on sky background] * Germany’s manufacturing sector continued its strong recovery in August, with the S&P Global Manufacturing PMI rising to 54.1 from 52.2 in July, marking a 51-month high. * The improvement was driven by a sharp surge in new orders, which increased for the third consecutive month and at the fastest pace since February 2022, while export sales also recorded strong growth. * "The recovery in the German manufacturing sector kicked up a gear in August, with a jump in new orders helping propel output growth to its highest since early 2022.
